Payroll Validation ยท SMARTi

Company: SMARTi โ€” software solutions for workforce management, attendance and HR processes.

Developed a feature for re-importing and validating payroll data, clearly displaying payroll codes, items, quantities, rates and amounts.

Result: 50% reduction in payroll-transfer errors.
Expand for details
  • Need: Validate the payroll-data file and make sure the correct payroll items and amounts were exported.
  • What I developed: A feature that re-imported payroll data into a clear, readable report.
  • Data checked: Payroll code, item, quantity and rate for every payroll line.
  • Challenge: A file can contain hundreds or thousands of salaries, making it difficult to know exactly what was generated.
  • Risk: Even a small error of a few tens of agorot can accumulate into hundreds of shekels.
  • Solution: Import, link and display the data in an organized structure so it can be compared with the attendance report and all required values can be verified.
  • Result: Approximately 50% fewer payroll-transfer errors.

  • Work context: The project was carried out during my work at Sysnet.
